Caney Valley Agape Network (CVAN) serves families and neighbors across USD 436 in southwest Montgomery County with a mission to create opportunities for every family to thrive: we are “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” Our services include access to pantry foods and crisis services for those facing hardship, along with unusually strong support for our super‑rural residents who often struggle to reach essential services. From babies to grandparents, and from veterans to survivors of domestic violence, CVAN provides compassionate assistance, meaningful referrals, and a community of care for anyone in need. K-State Extension provides relevant, reliable information related to Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, Horticulture, 4-H and Youth Development, EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) Family Life, Healthy Living, and much more. K-State Extension assists individuals, businesses, and communities in their efforts to find solutions, develop their knowledge-base, and better themselves as a whole.
K-State Extension is dedicated to a safe, sustainable, competitive food and fiber system and to strong, healthy communities, families and youth through integrated research, analysis and education.
At Friend and Kin, our vision is simple: to restore and repurpose dilapidated and abandoned properties for use by community-minded nonprofit organizations.
Our current project is the Longfellow Center, where meaningful progress is already underway. The south building has been restored and is now home to the Kansas Family Action Network (KFAN) resource center. The gymnasium has been cleaned and secured for use as a furniture ministry serving local families in need.
We are currently transforming former classrooms into apartments that will provide transitional housing for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a 25-bed, non-profit critical access hospital serving southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. HSH Homeless Ministry is a 501(C)(3) not for profit organization that operates five Temporary Homeless Shelters and a Day Resource Center. Our Mission is to help those in crisis (men, women, families, veterans) with temporary shelter and the necessary resources and support needed while living in a dignified environment. HSH prepares guests for success by providing short-term shelter, mentoring and assistance in acquiring stable employment and long term housing. The Day Resource Center is for those in crisis or displaced individuals that need to take a shower, do laundry and have a snack. Mentoring and Support is available to assist all guests to a lasting change of lifestyle.
The Warehouse Ministry at Longfellow is a furniture and appliance benevolence ministry dedicated to serving our local community.
We collect high-quality, donated household items, including beds, refrigerators, sofas, and chairs, and place them directly into the homes of families and individuals in crisis or need. Whether a neighbor is starting over after a loss or simply struggling to make ends meet, we strive to help provide the essential items that make a house functional and comfortable.

The USD 445 Community Health Worker Program supports students and families by helping remove barriers that can impact school success, health, and overall well-being. Serving students from Early Learning Center through high school, CHWs connect families to resources such as food, clothing, shelter, transportation, medical care, school attendance support, and other community services.
Our mission is to meet families where they are, provide compassionate support, and build strong partnerships between home, school, and community so every student has the opportunity to thrive. CHWs also assist families with navigating systems, accessing healthcare, and finding solutions during challenging times.

ABC Christian Childcare & Education Center is a place where children feel safe, loved, and supported — a place where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Jesus is at the center of everything we do. Our caring, qualified teachers understand how important strong communication is for families. We partner with parents every step of the way, treating each child and each family with the same kindness and respect we would want for our own. We serve Infants through Elementary age children, offering Preschool & PreK for ages 3–5 with extended hours when needed. We accept DCF and Native American Subsidies, making childcare free for most qualifying families. We follow CACFP federal nutrition guidelines, ensuring every child receives healthy, balanced meals and snacks at no cost. School supplies are provided. Genesis Inc. of Coffeyville Food Pantry serves families in the Coffeyville, Liberty and Dearing area of Montgomery County. Our mission is to aid those who are in need and to help them regain a new beginning in their lives.
We provide our clients with a wide range of food from which they can choose: fresh produce, meat, shelf-stable food, cleaning and hygiene items. We also have Veterans and Medicare/Medicaid assistance available. Learn more about our hours of operations on our Facebook page.
Kansas Family Advisory Network (KFAN) is dedicated to its mission of “Assisting Families on Their Journey to Wellness.” KFAN fulfills this mission by providing support, education, advocacy, training, and spiritual support to children, individuals, caregivers, and families through the use of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
Our vision is to meet families where they are by offering services and resources through our Family Resource Center, Sharing His Love Boutique, Juanita Alexander Food Pantry, Peer Support Programs, Kinship Navigation Program, and connections to additional community resources.
